Christmas goods – when to order and why
While it might seem like there’s still plenty of time left until Christmas, in fact the best time to place an order for an assortment of this type of product, so that you can organise everything on time, is right now.
The peak season for ordering Christmas items in China is May-July, August is really the last possible moment.
Below we explain why you should start organising your order right now.
➡ Preparing a quotation and setting all the details of an order can often be time-consuming, therefore, it is a good idea to set aside a time reserves to work out all the details.
➡ The delivery time for Christmas products is currently about 30-60 days.
➡ Shipping time should also be added to all this. If you choose the most cost-effective option, i.e. sea freight, transportation takes about 45 days.
All in all, the whole process, from the moment of sending a request for quotation to the moment of receiving the goods in Poland, takes about 4-5 months. It is also worth mentioning that the lead time for Christmas products may gradually increase due to the very large number of orders placed.
